A question for you "Bush Haters".
I'm one too.

Chris Matthews says people voted for him because they wanted to have a beer with him. Have you ever been asked to have a beer with him? Neither have I. Was it just the 43 million or whatever that voted for him? The way he adminsters, he has had well over 43 million beers since he took office. Are some people getting to have two beers with him?

I don't particularly want to drink with the asswipe, but I should get something for the $50K (or whatever my part is) of the national debt he built up.

2. Proud bush hater checking in here
I'd never have a beer with the sonofabitch. He's a liar, a deserter, a corporate criminal, but don't get me started. What's not to hate?? You'd have to be a dumb fucking christian conservative who values ignorance not to hate the worthless sack of caca.

25. Does it say somewhere the President has to be elected?
I thought the President was chosen by Delegates of electoral college sent by each state.

33. Yes, I understand you but George was awarded
the presidency by the Supreme Court who stopped the recount, he's the only president to be put into office by lawyers (who
he is always attacking) and not the voters, 2004 was the rise of the machines, another hocus pocus election.

Edited on Fri Jan-11-08 05:53 PM by DemGa
I never understood this desire to drink alcohol with Bush. After all, the story was out: George Bush was presumably an EX drinker, likely alcoholic. And yet the strange thought of "having a beer with Bush" continued.

18. Here's what one guy had to say about his beer with Bush
Long-Awaited Beer With Bush Really Awkward, Voter Reports

WARREN, PA—Although respondents to a Pew poll taken prior to the 2004 presidential election characterized Bush as "the candidate they'd most like to sit down and have a beer with," Chris Reinard lived the hypothetical scenario Sunday afternoon, and characterized it as "really uncomfortable and awkward."

Reinard, a father of four who supported Bush in the 2000 and 2004 elections, said sharing a beer with the president at the Switchyard Tap gave him "an uneasy feeling."

"I thought he'd be great," Reinard said. "But when I actually met him, I felt real put off."

The president arrived at the bar via motorcade close to 3 p.m. After a sweep by Secret Service agents, Reinard was asked, for security reasons, to move from his favorite stool. Shortly after he had reseated himself, Reinard said he "was pleased" to welcome the president to the Switchyard.

"Boy, it sure is a good day for a cool one," Bush reportedly told the assembled patrons, who were watching the Dolphins Patriots game. <snip>

Edited on Sat Jan-12-08 12:25 PM by robbedvoter
I don't even like beer, but if I had one, I would prefer the company of a decent human being. This was one of the biggest loads of BS they used for him - in both elections. Obviously not enough bought it - as he had to steal them both - beer or not beer.

Only a total fucking moron would want to "have a beer with" someone like that.

Of course, only a total fucking moron would even vote for that flat-Earth fundy imbecile in the first place..
