(LM: I can't help recalling the first WKRP in Cincinnati episode, and thinking that Dr. Johnny Fever had something to do with this.)It’s witchcraft at local radio station
Radio station WHAT (1340), known as Martini Lounge for its playlist of Rat Pack artists such as Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett, changed formats in the middle of the night because of an electrical glitch.
Strangers in the night, indeed.
The short in the system rebooted the station's hard drive, which also contains a playlist of sounds from more contemporary artists as Keane, Rolling Stones and Sheryl Crow, said station owner Tom Kelly. So for a few hours, WHAT was really rocking out.
The computer was reset shortly after 10 a.m.
First song: "Oh! Look at Me Now," by Sinatra.
