Bush: I would run as 'agent of change'

NBC, MSNBC and news services
updated 45 minutes ago

JERUSALEM - President Bush said Friday he doesn’t take it personally when Democratic and Republican presidential candidates embrace change as a major campaign theme.

“Oh, listen, if you're running for office, you can't run for office and not say, ‘I'm an agent of change,’" Bush told NBC News’ David Gregory. “That's just American politics. If I were running for office at this point I'd be saying, ‘Vote for me, I'm -- I'm gonna be an agent of change.’"

The president declined to comment on any of the current presidential candidates, but he left little doubt he would support the eventual Republican nominee.

“The Republicans understand that, one, tax cuts are important and, two, fighting this war on terror is important,” he said. “I think these two issues are going to be the defining issues in who can best lead this country in a complicated world.”

1. Fuck you, Bush. You were an agent of change.
You took everything good about America and destroyed it.

You killed our treasury surplus and made it the biggest deficit in history.

You took our good reputation and drug it through the mud.

You lied to us, spied on us, stole from us.

You started a war based on lies, invaded a sovereign nation that had never harmed us, and are responsible for thousands of deaths of innocent people.

Change can go two ways, and you took the wrong turn. America does want change - AWAY FROM YOU AND YOUR KIND - WHICH MEANS ALL REPUBLICANS.

Look in the mirror, George: YOU ARE THE ENEMY.

12. Yeah, but he didn't mean to. His intentions were good. He just had a run of bad luck.
And for the you-know-what impaired:

:sarcasm:

2. "The republicans understand that --

-destruction of the Constitution, civil liberties, the rule of law, separation of powers, the economy, the environment, sovereign nations which have not threatened us, and the good name of America, is very important."

13. Can you be a "serial mass murderer"?
Mass murderer, sure. Means he murdered a lot of people.

Serial murderer, sure. Means he murdered people on repeated occasions.

I think the "serial" thing is included in "mass murderer."

14. He's letting us know how meaningless the change meme is.
I believe that, God forbid, if he WERE running he WOULD dub himself an agent of change. Words are meaningless to these sociopaths.
