Nightmare Scenario

I was wondering whether people on this board felt a ticket of McCain/LIEberman would be viable?

I think this would appeal to many indepenedents and some Dems (see what LIEberman did in CT). They would sell this as the "bi-partisan" ticket (even though it aint)

Most of us would see this as the neo-con war-mongering * loving ticket

Would this ticket be competitive? I personally think any of our candidates would beat any of theirs but might this gimmick sell?

... that keeps me from feeling like we're going to lose again is the economy.

The pukes have really screwed that up and it's going to hit a LOT of Americans. Folks can swallow a pointless war that has no effect on their lives but wait until you start messing with their pocketbooks.

The Repugs are going to act like this isn't their fault, but I don't expect that to be an easy sell, even to generally ignorant Americans.

So, I think the stars are aligned for us to win, no matter who we nominate or who they nominate.
