U.S. Plans to BOMB IRAN move forward
Source: Political Lore

Bush said the incident was “a very dangerous gesture” on the part of Iran. He continued by adding,

“We have made it very clear, and they know our position, and that is: There will be serious consequences if they attack our ships, pure and simple.”

It is important to remember that he is quick to use this rhetoric although it is still unclear whether or not the speed boats did belong to or represent the Iran Revolutionary Guard (the US offered up one boat’s display of an Iranian flag as proof). Also, the threat of an attack that was heard on the US aircraft carrier has not been confirmed to have come from the speed boats let alone the Iran Revolutionary Guard.

2. More lies and death for Empire

"Once a government resorts to terror against its own population to get what
it wants, it must keep using terror against its own population to get what
it wants. A government that terrorizes its own people can never stop. If
such a government ever lets the fear subside and rational thought return to
the populace, that government is finished." -- Michael Rivero

6. If you don't have anything other than lies and smears to offer, why say anything at all?
Oh right: it's because you don't have anything other than lies and smears to offer.

13. hahaha !!!

you know what ? it HAS been enjoyable :)

i just watched JRE's speech in South Carolina and THAT was TRULY enjoyable. i want to see obama or clinton swipe MORE of JRE's attitude and policy. let he or she who copies him best win the race, if that is all the democratic party can manage this year.

7. It has nothing to do with Senator Clinton, I don't know why you feel the need
To bring her name into something that's EVERYTHING to do with W and his increasingly demented state of total desparation.

12. i once asked joel klein what the media would do
Edited on Fri Jan-11-08 03:22 AM by stickernation
to protect us in the event of a forged run-up to a war in iran.

he hemmed and hawed. i hope he has become more fierce, as i really called him to the carpet on the media's ambient approval of military imperialism. i was like "what are you going to do media man? huh?" it was in front of an auditorium full of people. i got my answer through his lack of one.

this war in iran, we are all so exhausted fighting each other on the primary, where is the democratic underground to STOP THIS WAR BEFORE IT STARTS ? i am going to email John Edwards to start working this run-up into war into his campaigning. Kucinich I'm sure will start speaking out, this dovetails into the impeachment proceedings. Clinton and Obama - I want you to take a stand on this. Please if you support ANY of the democratic candidates email them to tell them IRAN IS PROBABLY GOING TO BE ISSUE NUMBER ONE BY THE TIME NOVEMBER ROLLS AROUND !!! !!! !!! !!!

If US was to attack Iran with or withouth the rest of the Power in the area.. Like China or Russia... Then I am afraid the "end of times" are coming sooner than later.. That becouse if Russian or Chinese is killed, by american weapon either Hu or Putin wil just sitt there and lett US blow their peopole in small pices... They would not just stand up in the UN, and complain... And for the record, Iran have bought alot of fine Russian missiles, many of them (sunburns) who are cabable of blowing up some of your fine hardtops... Aka aircraftcarries.. And in the Gulf aicraftcarriers would be easy targets for the iranian military precense who would do it best to destroy as mutch of american hardware they manage to do...

If US was to attack Iran, with the same like practice they used to go to war with Iraq, I am amfraid the Islamic extremist would have won another war with us.. Becouse what they want is us to come to them, so they dont need to come tu us, where they can be arrested, get a trial, and be sentenced to prison time.. There they can kill a lot of us, without the fear of been arrested...

This administration should be holden as criminal, if they was to go to war with Iran.... As they SHOULD have been with regard to Iraq...

17. Bush is a loose cannon
I don't believe there is going to be a war with Iran this year. However, Bush will continue to rant about Iran in order to promote the Republican party this election.

There won't be any real threat, but Americans won't know the difference. Add to that Bush cuts in Homeland Security funding to major cities in order to frighten Americans more about their insecurity and coincidentally timed releases of terror videos from OBL and Republicans are going to win the next election, or at least they think they will.
