Clinton/Obama "spat"
If Clinton and Obama get in the business of asking the other to return the money of anyone who says something harsh... well, that would be a waste of time for both of them.

Just sayin'

:puke:  :silly:

1. Hillary did this
Obama just responded to her people's attack. She had to respond to Geffen, not to Obama.

2. I agree
Obama did nothing wrong here. It was nutty of Hillary to demand an apology from Obama for something Geffen said.

But I do think Obama should have said: "We'll make a deal. I won't ask you to return the money of all donors who criticize me if you don't demand that I return the money of anyone who criticizes you. This is a presidential race. Did you expect that nobody would say anything harsh about you?"

4. Get rid of him? How? Geffen's NOT part of the Obama campaign
He's simply a donor. And Hillary looks thin skinned and hypocritical here.

7. Why get rid of Geffen as a donor? Look at the crap Dems put up with from McAuliffe and Carville
spouting their pieholes against other Democrats and who get WAY more corporate media coverage than anything one DONOR can get.

5. The "spat" is a media fabrication
It was stirred up by the Corporate Media to make Sen. Clinton and Sen. Obama so overexposed that American voters will be thoroughly sick of them before the 2008 primaries.

6. This thread is the "Clinton/Obama spat" spat
Maybe Clinton and Obama will take each other down and we can have a few months where the media have to actually cover something important, like the investigations in Congress of the Executive branch. Then, when the time comes, maybe somebody with experience and depth will decide to run.
