I went to college with a few people who interned at Harpo. Supposedly, she's generous with her money when it counts, but isn't the easiest person to deal with. I heard similar things from friends of mine at the hotel I worked at here, when she came to our town a few years ago. Not a huge surprise to me, any of it. She seems very self-absorbed, IMHO.
