3. Me too, Molly was a constant, Think of her at least once a week.
Funny how you can never meet or see a person in real life and yet they have such a presence, even after they die. I bet you she would be happy right now regardless!

7. She would not have wanted Hillary -- check this link

I'd like to make it clear to the people who run the Democratic Party that I will not support Hillary Clinton for president.

Enough. Enough triangulation, calculation and equivocation. Enough clever straddling, enough not offending anyone This is not a Dick Morris election. Sen. Clinton is apparently incapable of taking a clear stand on the war in Iraq, and that alone is enough to disqualify her. Her failure to speak out on Terri Schiavo, not to mention that gross pandering on flag-burning, are just contemptible little dodges.

The recent death of Gene McCarthy reminded me of a lesson I spent a long, long time unlearning, so now I have to re-learn it. It's about political courage and heroes, and when a country is desperate for leadership. There are times when regular politics will not do, and this is one of those times. There are times a country is so tired of bull that only the truth can provide relief.

6. It always makes me smile when I think about her explaining how she got fired by the NYTimes...
... she was only there a couple of weeks before she got fired.

And she said it was the best thing that could have happened to her.

Wow Molly, I agree ... sure would have hated missing all the great stuff she wrote and said if she had stayed at the NYTimes and adhered to their strict 'policy.'

9. She could always see through the layers of lies and deception to get to the truth...
... and when she revealed the truth, it was usually in a way that made me laugh.

16. Props for Molly...
I envision her and Ann Richards sittin' around a heavenly kitchen table somewhere, sippin' a little whiskey and shakin' their heads at what's happening down here.
