:wtf: :scared:

on edit: The problem wasn't the national anthem it was about 50 paired up couples on stage with middle age women in white prom dresses and white men in black tuxes all singing the national anthem with one violin. weird as hell 1977 flashback to who the hell knows what kind of Lawrence Welk Jimmu Swaggert revival

15. A bunch of helmet-haired women and some very straight guys...
opening the debate with the National Song ("Anthem" just rubs me the wrong way).

Verrrryy beautific.

I lasted about seven seconds.

You didn't miss a thing worth watching, trust me.

3. I watched what I could. What a fraudulent display of "patriotism"
Typical hokum, and musically inept. There was a time when Republicans did better.

4. Well of COURSE they would have to open it with the National Anthem.
How else could they prove that Fox is the network of True Americans and the Republican Party is the party of True Americans, and that all those not of Fox News or the Republican Party are false and traitorous non-Americans????? :patriot:

:sarcasm: I mean, honestly.

7. You have now arrived in Patriot Country.
I missed it as I was downstairs. My husband said it was impressive.

Patriotism, Nationalism Militarism are high in the South.
The Republicans naturally use props which appeal to their consituency.

13. It was probably one of those bad supper club deals they have down there
They have a lot of those bad supper clubs in Myrtle Beach. The performers were probably from there if I had to make a guess. Imagine Branson at the Beach and you have Myrtle.

19. They were second rate performers that work in the
Carolina Opry in Myrtle Beach. The shows they have there are awful. No comparison to the real Opry in Nashville where they actually have talent. I am from SC. Everyone there does not agree with the conservative wing fucks. :dem:
