Republicans have spent years doing 'opposition research' on Obama, Clinton and Edwards.

You can bet that the attacks will be withering on Obama if he is the nominee since Obama has not been through this before. To a lesser degree with Hillary because of her connection to Bill, and even less regarding Edwards --because Edwards has been through this before, and anything they had was likely used in the 2004 election cycle.

2. If they've run out of things to say about Hillary, they'll just invent something

new, throwing what ever mud they can, knowing no matter how false some of it will stick.

Obama will probably get harsher treatment, since it's easier to spread racial slurs than mount a sexist broadside against women since even the Republican base is largely female.

As for Edwards, desperation is the mother of invention. They'll invent what ever lies they think have any chance at all of flying.

Face it, it's going to be a brutal, dirty campaign no matter who we nominate.

3. Whoever becomes the Dem Nominee, I want them to win... but this is reality

IF any of the top 3 Dem candidates have something negative in their background I want it to come out in the Primary Campaign, and not for the first time in the General Election.

Nothing I posted here is a statement by Edwards or his Campaign.

It is true for whichever candidate becomes the Democratic Nominee.

5. Whomever the candidate, all RW HELL will break loose on him/her.

"IT" (the RW attack machine) has all ready hinted at how it will attack and it is ugly.

Osama will be crossed with Obama and you know damn well it will resonate and f*ck with the American psyche.

Hillary will be flooded with her husband's personal issues and discriminatory "emotion" shit.

Edwards will get it, too, and you know what's on that bullshit train.

I know Kerry did what he believed what's best in his heart, today,...supporting Obama.

We live in the most vicious social circumstances I've known since the aweful battles I witnessed as a young person in the late 60's and 70's. I am feeling just as confused and distraught, today, as I did then because, there is no use other than destructive abuses involved.

In this case, however, I am able to stay out of the battle within and stay focused on the enemies of democracy and humanity. Those enemies are corporacrats.
