. (Fixed, ok people?) Our receptionist hands me a sheet of paper. She says "did you see this about Obama?" I looked quickly, it's the poison email about the Koran blah blah blah.

I said to her, first, is this what you do with the company computer? Second why do you believe this? Do you know who Keith Elison is? Did you know whose Koran it was?

"It's all true he's a Muslim, he's not a Christan, he went to terror school.

With that I walked away. Her Internet access just got turned off.

I've actually posted on one or two threads of yours so far that have started with a story about something that happened to you and how you put some idiot repuke in their place. Eventually, and that's probably not the right word to use because it implies that it takes some time to occur (but instead it's almost immediate), if someone who doesn't say you did exactly the right thing, if they imply there might have been a different way to handle the situation, or even if they suggest that "moran" would have been a better word than "idiot", you quickly accuse that person of siding with the idiot. so, I clicked on *reply all* explaining to everyone the email is false and included the Snopes link. Short time later, my cousin sent everyone the link and text from Truth or Fiction debunking the email as well. I hope my cousin learns not to just blindly send this stuff on without checking it first.

Next time, don't just hit "reply to all" when you debunk an email.

Be sure to go down and copy/paste all the emails from down the chain of all the other Repuke morons who passed the email along without discovering the "Bcc" option and email the rebuttal to THEM, too.

For extra effect, Cc "Al Jazeera" on the email, pointing out that because you did that, everyone on that email list is now being watched by The CIA. But if they've done nothing wrong, they have nothing to hide, as the Republifascists like to say.

Even when it is spelled out so a second grader should get it, it goes over their heads. Like the discrepancies in the New Hampshire primaries. The polls were wrong only where the machines were used? Back in 1991, my husband & i quit our jobs in Northern Virginia to move to New Mexico where we had bought a house.

The receptionist at our firm gave us the usual "sorry to see you go" and then asked "but why are you moving out of the country?" I was stunned. "out of the country? New Mexico is one of the 50 United States!"

Hence, New Mexico magazine has a column called "One of our 50 is Missing!" (just kidding, but there really is a column by that name).
