I used to laugh a lot here, and feel good after reading some posts

It has been a long long time since those days. I rarely see anything of substance here anymore. Snarkiness and nastiness has become the norm..At one time this place had substance and heart, now it has been taken over by mean spirited and just plain nasty people that behave mostly like teen agers. Not sure why I keep logging on here, it sure doesn't make me feel good about anything anymore..I guess we get what we deserve....

I've been here 5-6 years and It doesn't seem any meaner or dumber now than it was the day I showed up. As always there's a mix of brilliant and insightful people and mean dumbasses.

I've been here since 2001 and I feel the same - it's always been like this, and there are always threads about how DU is so much worse than it used to be...primary season is always worse. Put your big girl pants on, people!

I'm tired of being ignored and I'm not going to take it any more!

I'm like the breadcrumbs in the meatloaf that is DU. I serve little purpose here other than to act as a filler and perhaps a binder for some of the other ingredients. However, being neither overly insightful nor nasty I'm one of the DU forgotten. Overlooked and cast aside. No one ever complains about us and if we post a "that's it I've had it. I'm outta here" thread we end up having to kick it ourselves for lack of interest.

On behalf of all the DU breadcrumbs who post here I demand we be recognized for our service!

Breadcrumbs everywhere rise up and unite! :P
