Can America stand four more years of Bush policies?
The Republican Party is falling apart - and now is the time to take advantage of it.

All Republican leaders promise four more years of the Bush Administration's failed policies, from continuing the President's war in Iraq, to pursuing his efforts to privatize Social Security. Extending his budget-busting handouts for special interest friends also ranks high on Republican presidential agendas.

Regardless of your personal loyalties, there's one thing for certain: we can't let any of the Republican candidates take over where George W. Bush leaves off.

We must win the White House and that hard work begins today.

Will you help?

1. It could not stand the past 7 years of bush policies!!!! We must stop the destruction of this
country...and the world, as well.
BushCo truly acts in ways that would lead any sane person to believe they are out to destroy the planet.

2. Yes, we can bathe in upcoming election, but we still have the
disease in the country that must be cured. We must stay focused on all fronts. And will these thugs be held accountable or will we just move on?

3. well, it's lasted this long and nobody rose up against it
so, i guess the sleeping, complacent masses could put up with another 4 or even 40 years of it. it's a sad but true statement about the american public in general. you've got everything from the freepers, fundies and other white trash that will accept fascism with open arms to the complacent middle class that has just enough material wealth and comfort that they don't want to risk anything they have by rocking the boat. the people suffering the most are the poor and they just don't have the means to organize or find any support and the "man" knows how to keep them in check by keeping the middle class afraid of them and keeping the fundies and freepers and rednecks hating them.

4. Anyone who thinks a single election, or even 2-3, will stop the decline into fascism ...

... is living in CloudCuckooLand. The (uncounted?) ballot has become the political HushPuppy of the day - a "shut up and get in line" tool of a corrupt establishment. There's a big difference between "necessary" and "sufficient."

6. So few remember Aristophanes ... or bother to obtain a classical education, even in the slightest.

Here's ol' me - a Math and Computer Science major (barely literate) - making an allusion to The Birds that so few understand. Well, I guess that's why so many succumb to the threat of being buried in guano if they don't comply.

:dunce: :silly:
