Today on NPR-- Abortion, Censoring Science, and politix...
Diane Rehm had an interesting panel talking about the big Republican meeting, but more interesting was Susan Wicklund, and abortion doctor.

Dr. Wicklund felt she had to admit to her grandmother, a devout "60 Minutes" viewer, what she did for a living before it was on TV. Her grandmother then admitted that when she was very young, a friend became pregnant and bled to death after an illegal abortion she helped her find. Much tearjerking as Grandma said she felt she killed her friend, and hoped she would see the day when this would never happen to another woman.

On another note, Terry Gross is interviewing James Hansen, the NASA scientist who got in the middle of it when he went public about how these PR clowns brought in by the White House are stifling discussion. Not only did he get in trouble by talking about greenhouse gasses and global warming, but he was once told the the Big Bang was "only a theory" and should not be discussed without due credit given to Creation Theory.
