1. I think Giuliani would be hard
I don't think people really realize how much of an authoritarian he really is.

2. I think it depends on who our candidate is.
The match ups mean a lot I think.

15. Disagree....I kind of what McCain...
I think McCain can be sold as four more years of Bush. And I think of all the ads that can be made of the time McCain was kissing Bush's armpit.

Huckabee is the one I'm worried about. He's sort of a stealth-religious zealot where those that see him have no idea how far right he is when it comes to religion.

Newsweek made an interesting find in its recent coverage of Huckabee: they can't find any transcripts, video or audio of his sermons, nor will Huckabee talk about their content.

9. I think McCain- and I believe unless he really screws up he'll be
the nominee-

I know some Dem's who'd vote for him over one of our own candidates.

I hope he doesn't get the nod, - the others are all pretty weak, but McCain has a stubborn following -

at least from my own perspective.

11. McCain
Independents like him, the hard-core GOPers not so much but they'll never vote for a Dem or they just won't vote so I'd have to give it to him as being the toughest for us to bet come November.

14. Huckabee. No question. His evangelical roots and progressive attitude
...rare among GOPers will peel off more conservative Blue Dog Democrats and independents. The GOP would be fools to not pick him as their candidate. QED.

16. Huckabee will be the one to beat.
As scary as he is, the views he expresses apply to a section of American populace. Of course, he's probably not going to make certain beliefs of his central to the campaign (like expecting women to be subservient kitchen-dwellers). Huckabee will win certain people over with his "folksy" demeanor, as an unfortunately large portion of the voting body values that over actual views and results.
