What, precisely, is "inspiration"?
What is your concrete definition of "inspiration"?

What notable recent examples do we have of pResidents who were inspirational?

1. IMHO
it is a cataclysmic entity that
induces one to take action and
make changes.

2. Can you describe the phenomena a person experiences when they are inspired.
That would be "the most common denominator" that characterizes inspiration in most circumstances in terms of the persons being inspired . . . . ?

10. The biology is unique?
Every experience is essentially biological. Inspiration is biological. Are you saying the biological events that we refer to as "inspiration" are unique to each and every individual who experiences them? How, therefore, can all of those uniques experiences be call the same thing, inspiration? If there are no commonalities why are all of them inspiration?

14. There are probably some
commonalities but, some what like
the thought process (a biological
action). If 100 people are given
a problem, the ones that solve that
problem will not all use the same
thought and reasoning to reach their
result.

4. Inspiration is
The catalyst that awakens a sense of purpose within me and which fuels that sense of purpose with the energy necessary for action.

5. How you feel after a good dump.
All pResidents are by definition suit-droids, else they would have never got there. The worship and deification of politicians is not appropriate in a so-called democratic society.

Inspiration is the opposite of that.

9. For me it's when you experience an epiphany (a moment
when all puzzling problems seem to come together with a solution). The last President to do that for me was John Kennedy who seemed to embody the hope we had for the future. It was no accident that his era was called "Camelot".
