Michigan's Primary - vote for "uncommitted"
The 12 December 2007 Voter Guide published by the Democratic Party states:

"A vote for "uncommitted" is a vote to send delegates to the Democratic National Convention who are not committed or pledged to any candidate. Those delegates can vote for any candidate they choose at the Convention. Supporters of Joe Biden, John Edwards, Barack Obama and Bill Richardson are urged to vote "uncommitted" instead of writing in their candidates' names because write-in votes for those candidates will not be counted.

13. no room for an honest moderate
He's called a radical because he tells the truth (which the media can't stand, so they say he's a radical), but in reality I think he's a rather conservative Democrat. He doesn't have much money or a big organization, and I'm sure that also hurt him, but I think most of his potential supporters have gone to Kucinich or Paul. Seems strange, but I've also heard both DK and RP supporters say they'd also vote for Gravel. If Michigan had it's delegates, I'd probably vote for DK, but I'd give Gravel some serious thought.

7. The power of Iowa , New Hampshire
I am proud of Mark Brewer. Can't make change unless one rocks the boat. The DNC wants to dis Michigan Democrats, let them be the ones apologizing come November.

8. I hate Iowa
To favor Iowa and New Hampshire over Michigan shows why the Democratic party continues to be the laughing stock of American politics.

9. I think Iowa Democrats are decent people
they take their job seriously. They just don't have a right to think they deserve more influence than anyone else.

14. Mark Brewer can suck it
I've never liked him, based on his emails, etc. that I get from him, but this sealed the deal. He played chicken with the national party and lost - what a fucking dumbshit. This is the kind of thing that will keep me from voting in state-wide and local elections - if the party is this poorly run, I don't want to have any part in it. He's dug his own grave.

4. You should raid the Republican primary to vote for their most unelectable candidate
And that man seems to be Romney.

6. just my little old humble opinion
the dems are shooting themselves in the foot with all this 'not recognizing delegates' crap

in 2000 votes weren't counted which tipped the (s)election towards smirkboy, in 2004 same thing

here we are in 2008 and the dems won't count the votes... :eyes: what's wrong with this picture?

I live in PA, and our primary isn't until April - the horserace will essentially be over and done by then. the only scenario I can see for PA Dem voters in April, where a vote will make a difference is if the race is too close to call and that's a long shot.

with states rushing to be "first" in nation to have a caucus/primary, and the dems refusing to recognize candidate delegates - this highlights the need to revamp the entire primary process

either go with a national primary day, or work out a revolving "group" type voting schedule.

15. yep, but that would be too sensible, wouldn't it?
I don't see a problem with the national party setting up a proposed schedule that is fair to all voters and telling the state parties that they have to stick to it, or lose their delegates. Do away with this charade we have now by all means.
