What is it that both Dems and Repugs are going after "Old People?" And what is "Old" today? Who is it that both parties are targeting with their message?

And, aren't those folks that are pals of Matthews on his "Hardball Show" kind of "Old?" At least they don't seem to be Obama's age.. to me...

Anyone have any guess about what the STRATEGY IS that both DEMS & REPUGS HATE OLD...yet both parties seem to have alot of "Older Looking" candidates running for President in '08. If they dye their hair and work out would that make a difference? I've seen Liddy Dole and she looks like 40 something with her work. Should we all have "work" done so that we don't appear "old." Sheesh...what's up with this?
