This should be a fun drive back to Chicago.

1. That's funny
It's damn cold here, and it won't stop snowing. No global warming here, either!

3. nope, we're supposed to get snow
but it was record hot through the beginning of December, and since then it's been around zero +- 5 degrees.

These wild swings aren't natural, and anyone who suggests it will just go away is dreamin'

4. I was attacked by a bee today,
and there's a dandelion in my front yard. I drove home from work with the top down.
63 right now, near 70 tomorrow in Pittsburgh.

This is really happening fast.

5. I'm in the southwest suburban area of Chicago and it's raining
so hard right now it's hard to see across 95th Street. The lightning is pretty impressive too. I've had my patio door open all day. Weird, weird weather...

6. and out here in CA, another storm awaits offshore
one partial day of sun, and now it is cloudy and heading below 50 deg.
wind warning- 40 to 50 mph gusts

at least the inspector from the insurance determinded our roof was not damaged... the 12'x12' metal awning, however, is a "gonner" and will need to be replaced- it decided to flip over the roof and fly almost 100', to land in front of our neighbor's house, in the middle of the road. The insurance guy was impressed when I showed him where it landed.

Did we get Washington state's weather?
