Short debates summary
The Republicans are all either totally whacked in the brain or pretending to be totally whacked in the brain, except Ron Paul, who should be whacked in the brain except in that crowd he is the one who actually makes sense, I have never in my life seen such a sorry lot.

The Democrats, with the exception of Richardson who was making his last guest appearance, were each and everyone of them articulate, intelligent, engaging, and reality based.

The contrast between the demented remnants of the failed Reagan Revolution and the responsible adults in the room could not have been more stark.

On the other hand, as somebody complained, the Republicans were far more interesting to watch, they were fascinating in fact, like a massive nighttime pile up and conflagration on the interstate.

The electability issue can be put to bed. We are, they aren't.

1. Gore was, Bush wasn't. Kerry was, Bush wasn't. Based on debates.
Let's not get overconfident. The American Public apparently does not base their decision on debate performances - only on specific talking points within those debates that get aired by the media or by the candidates in commercials. Or gaffes.

2. I have never in my life seen such a weak and sorry crop of has-beens and wanna-bees on the other
side of the aisle as that bunch, including Bob Dole and George Bush.

This is going to be an AWESOME election.

:bounce:
