Am I the only one around who doesn't like anyone running for President?
I swear. I'm so sick of listening to everyone who is running. The closest I've come to liking anyone is John Edwards, but that's just because I love and admire his wife, and I find her inspirational. Has very little to do with him actually.
Anyone else?

6. I think a lot of it
is how the whole process is packaged. It seems we're engaged in a pre-packaged popularity contest much of the time.

And so what we get are political products. Statesmen like Wellstone, RIP, are not allowed in the media spotlight.

It's all very controlled.

I like them all. I wish they could all be president. Well, maybe not Gravel so much but he is good for some laughs. Anyway, maybe they can take turns or be co-presidents? LOL

"Change" is really code for "more of the same." This "reach across the aisle" approach is bullshit. We need an OPPOSITION party. We don't need sterile, packaged debates. I'm most aligned with Elizabeth and wish she were the one running, to be honest. Kucinich I usually score 100% with whenever I take any online quizzes, but that ain't gonna happen. Perhaps the two Elizabeths would make a good ticket.

Most honestly, let me say I am seeking a candidate who doesn't care about politics. I want to see someone run who will say, screw the politics, lets get honest. Someone who will go, I will probably serve one term, and I will probably be assassinated before it's over, but I will do the best damn job for you than any of these other schlubs. I want another Bill Clinton(I know I'm going to get creamed for that one too), but I feel that he helped to further the Middle Class. He was your every man. He didn't grow up a socialite. He worked hard for everything he got, and I respect that. Who the fuck cares that he lied for a BJ? I don't. He was a hell of a President, and no one will ever convince me otherwise.
I want someone I can respect.

Hillary, Obama and Edwards certainly didn't grow up in the socialite world, either.

Bill had his merits, the least of which not being trade agreements and the 1996 Telecommunications Act. And currently, his sucking up to the BFEE has left a really bad taste in my mouth (pardon the pun).

15. The four Dems in the debate tonight all have something to favor,
imo. I happen to like listening to the political rhetoric, knowing much of it is just that - rhetoric. Yet, amongst it all, these are real people, looking to do a job, and we ought to step up in the vetting process - as laborious and contrived as it may seem.

Just my two cents.

16. Nope you are not.
Where the hell did the balls of Kucinich go? How the hell could he be blocked out of these debates and what did he do with my money? All Dem candidates are shills for the corps as far as I can tell. We are screwed and that is all I can see or say. Too sad. Peace, Kim

26. We Have Such Weak Candidates This Time. We Could Get FUCKABEED!
These are the weakest bunch of candidates I have ever seen from the Democrats, and the scariest ever from the Repiglickans.

I am really afraid we may be Fuckabeed in November.

who has his own flaws, and Gravel, minus his tax plan, I really don't like any of them. I might persuade myself to vote for Obama, but Hillary and Edwards are no-gos.
