Democrats Far Surpass Republicans
I watched both debates tonight and didn't fall asleep during the Democratic debate. Good God, the assortment of Republicans looks like something out of a horror film. I should feel sorry for Republicans, but I don't. And while I may not be supporting Obama, Clinton, or any other besides John Edwards ( who I thought did great tonight,) on the whole Democrats FAR surpass Republicans on ALL issues, so I would say that regardless of where you stand, as a Democrat there is much more to be thankful for.

1. The worst Democrat is better than the best Republican.
We are fortunate to have such good candidates.

3. Pubs Have No Narrative to Sell
Their "president" has screwed the pooch for all the Republican candidates -- the only possible exception is McCain, who's grown up enough and independent enough to have his own narrative.

They have nothing to say because their party stands for Doing Nothing. Has ANY of them ever been able to answer the central conundrum of any Republican candidacy -- i.e., "If you think the government is so incapable, why do you want to be a part of it?"

All they've got is a noun, a verb, and "Nine Eleven." Thanks to Sen. Joe Biden for that one.

4. Without a doubt. What a pathetic cast of misfits. Almost thought the writers strike was over
and I was watching a skit on Saturday Night Live.

We are certainly blessed with our slate of presidential hopefuls, indeed!
