12. INSANITY
The war just keeps humming along, forgotten in the fog of valid concerns about daily life. And that is the key word...life. We have it, others are losing it as the silence descends and the ugly subject is conveniently kicked to the curb.

14. Is the war now irrelevant?
It certainly appears that way....Its funny how we have gone a year-and-a-half and the Iraq war seems to be a non issue compared to the election year 2006......

20. Who is sane enough to end the killing and injury of Americans & Iraqis
Sad, isn't it, that there's such a low hurdle for sanity. This is monopolistic capitalism redux, the logical conclusion of a system that can't survive without war and bid rigging, to mention just two of the signs of complete decadence.

Who will indeed?

23. Who spoke up and said it was for oil in the beginning? Who...
went to the floor and spoke to our representatives and said that the evidence was old, outdated and not accurate? Thats who would end it, other than that, we will most likely be their forever.

Also ask yourself, who listened to the truth of it all and still voted for a war for oil? They say that they authorized the president if all else failed but that is just the game they play with the American sheeple. Congress' job would have been to only authorize war after everything was exerted, instead they did it this way so that Bush and the republicans could go to war and the sheeple would blame it on the evil side while giving a free pass to the so called good side. Until the American sheeple wake up and see the reality of what took place and continues to take place, we will always be in wars for oil.

They should have voted for or against war, no congress should ever relinquish their power to go to war and give it to one person. They knew what they were doing and it worked, the sheeple still have no clue.

Best bets are probably Kucinich and Edwards.

25. Edwards will get them all out.
Clinton and Obama couldn't promise to have it done by 2013, and they can't say that they will get everyone out. Edwards will get it done in a year or less and he will take everyone out. I know the military-industrial complex was aggravated tonight when he said there would be no permanent bases.
