Who do we want to run against?
Let's just say for argument's sake, we nominate Obama.

McCain

Our Pro's: Obama' Youth; spirit, vision, opposition to the war

Our Con's: They'll say Obama lacks of foreign policy experience

(IMO, If McCain is the nominee - Obama need's Biden or Richardson or Clark as VP)

Rudy

Our Pro's: Obama' Youth; spirit, vision, opposition to the war, clean living family guy

Our Con's: They'll say Rudy is tested in the fight on terrorism

(Need Biden as VP, IMO - or any other terrorism expert)

Mitt

Our Pro's: Obama's spirit, vision, opposition to the war, woman's right to choose

Our Con's: They'll say Obama lacks business experience

In my opinion, no big deal.

2. Hucky
A LOT of people in both parties will feel extremely threatened by the fact that he's a Baptist minister and evangelical.

3. It doesn't matter. They're interchangeable.
Huck is supposed to be the outsider that the GOP doesn't know what to do with, but he'll fall in line just like all the others. Perhaps his rhetoric has been a tad more violent than that of the rest of the pack, but I see no stand-outs. They're corporate whores, without even the imagination to try to re-brand themselves.

The MSM will settle on a nominee, and GOP voters will hardly bleat as they support him. As the TV sings lullabyes, fully forty percent of voters who turn up (and are not disenfranchised) will cast ballots for the Republican--and the Dem nominee will win. Then and only then will the GOP suddenly discover the lousy economy, and they may ride that horse to victory in oh-twelve.
