Just to clear up some speculation/confusion -- I plan
on swallowing my pride, plug my nose as tight as I can, prolly drink a bottle of Pepto before hand and vote for Obama if he does turn out to be our nominee.

I will do this even though I really don't trust he'll fight for my/our civil liberties if he determines again it's politically advantageous to do otherwise -- the same type of unfortunate decision he made when he chose Donnie McClurkin over the concerns of gay people.

I have friends who are calling me an idiot for not writing in a different candidate or voting Green instead of Obama.

But no, I'll go ahead and vote for him if he ends up being the nominee because I'm a loyal Democrat whose always voted (D) across the board. I'll crumple up my principle and toss it in the garbage.

I won't argue with anyone who calls me an idiot who's setting myself up to be played. I'm sure some in the gay community will call me a sell out. Perhaps they're right.

But I'm willing to roll the dice and hope that maybe, just maybe, Obama will choose not to screw us over and help us instead.

I know he isn't the nominee yet, but I'm just planning.

Planning that he won't play me a fool.

2. Don't write off Edwards just yet
The only cantidate who can survive the southern states is Edwards. The new crossover voters and former Republicans will never vote for Clinton or Obama. They're just not ready for that yet. The hard core republicans will come out to vote against them, but Edwards will not energize Republicans. Edwards took most of the second choice votes in Iowa, The reason IMHO everyone who wants change Doesn't wont more clinton, Obama is too careful doesn't want to upset the status quo.
