There was time before the last presidential election when people were put behind fences, prohibited from protesting against their President. They were herded safely away from the TV cameras until His Highness was again on his way. What happened?
Do we still have those "free speech" zones? Or are they only reserved for George W Bush? Or did people just simply stop protesting? Or did the "Decider" simply decide not to give any more speeches or make any more public appearances? After the election, what was the need?
They were such a symbol for our times. Things must be so much better that we no longer have them? Or have they simply evolved into bigger and more secure zones?
