For me, it has to be Dead Phred

Controlling "Trophy" wife.

Psychobitch from Hell campaign operative in the person of Carville's dominatrix wife.

Constant sleepwalking interrupted by occasional bouts of wakefulness.

A laugh that appears more like the grimace made during a particularly difficult session on the toilet.

A personalty that makes prunes appear to be the Fun Fruit.

A demonstrated energy level that rivals that of a tree sloth.

Who do you find most pathetic and why?

1. Rudy: noun-verb-9/11
If you think Bush was bad, imagine a giuliani presidency.

3. I also have to go with Night of the Living Fred.
A guy with no measurable pulse and a face like a scrotum.

911uliani is getting there, though. He just got his ass handed to him by Ron Paul.

4. I have to go with Ol' Scrotum Face too
I think his wife told him he either needed to run for President or add a deck to the house and he went with what he figured would take less energy.

6. If I have to pick only one, then it's a real tough decision.
They're all equally horrible (Repugs, that is).

I, personally, would revoke their membership in the human fraternity. To a man.

11. Yep. A whole bevy of buffoons there.
But most of the Washingtonians, Dems included, look a little pathetic when trying to shape any sort of populist message.

9. Rudy.
Fred is sad but Rudy is P A T H E T I C

That anyone considers voting for him baffles me. Adam Sandler gave money to his campaign & when I heard that I lost any interest I'll ever have in seeing another Sandler flick. Your that fucking stupid that you think RUDY would be a good President?
Oy Vay.

13. Pretty much the whole Repuke bunch.
McCain is the only one out of any of them who ever had any credibility. And he lost that when he started kissing Chimp Bush's ass.

Aside from him, who do ya have?

Let's see.... The Mormon religious nut, the Baptist religious nut, and the mosh-pit diving religious nut who can't remember what state he lives in.

Mayor 9u11ani. Duncan Dumbass (who wants to get the Judds back together so they can record his song "Love Can Build a Huge Fucking Wall (to keep the Mexicans out)"). Fred Frankenberry.

Then there's Ron Paul. He's right on a few things. Dead wrong on the rest. But the things he's right on will get him blacklisted in the Repuke party.

Did I forget anybody? If I did, they must be even more pathetic than the guys listed.

Edited on Fri Jan-04-08 09:47 PM by mcscajun
...it has to be Rudy. No Mayor of any American city has EVER become President without first attaining higher elected office. Ever.

His timing is dreadful, too. His 'moment in the sun' was over a couple of years ago.

If he wasn't a Republican, you could actually feel sorry for him. As it is, sixth place, Rudy? Behind Ron Paul?

15. I'll throw in a vote for "Duck and Cover" Duncan Hunter...

I remember when he announced that it seemed to come at a time to allow him to in effect have a permanent "google bomb" of news about his running for president to avoid having much publicity from the alternative media show up about his other many points of controversy suspicion that might otherwise raise our hackles up in the blogosphere:

1) His convenient scam of paying artificially low taxes on his house that he got an insurance claim back on for it being burned up in a fire that reflected a lot higher value than what it was assessed as for taxes.
2) His involvement with many of the same hoods and deals that Duke Cunningscam was involved with (MZM, Brent Wilkes, etc.)
3) His trying to ram through approval of Blackwater's grabbing huge acreage down here without local community approval nor Bob Filner's approval either (since the property was also in his district as well).
4) The scam he had of lobbying the city to do a very slimey deal with the city giving away property to McMillin real estate developer company (who is the #1 campaign contributor briber for Republicans around here) and where his brother is a VP and got a suspicious house in a choice part of the "lottery" to get these lots.
5) His claims that Guantanamo were treating prisoners well since they got good TV dinners with chicken, etc.

I think this whole running for president thing with him was never intended to be that serious. Mostly as a way for him to distract others from a lot of the above suspicious dealings that might get him into legal trouble, and give him a convenient way to "retire" (he's stating that his son now is going to run for his seat instead of him since he's running for president).

16. that's a very good list
I'd find it hard to match.

What we find pathetic, though, depends on what we value. I value the ability to look down the road and come up with some new ideas for tackling the problems at hand. calipendence, on the other hand, values the ability to get into office and actually serve instead of using the public treasury as one's personal pocketbook.

While I, too, value honesty and integrity, I find Romney to be the most pathetic because he has no vision:

a) Romney looked at focus groups and research to come up with his platform/personality and :puke: what did he come up with? Reagan. He used Reagan as his inspiration.

This is pathetic because it shows the republicans have no new ideas. To get an idea, they look backwards, not forwards. And that is truly pathetic.

b) Building on his pathetic foundation, when Romney got trounced by Huckabee in Iowa, what does he come up with? "Change." Now he is the candidate of change. I heard that in one speech he gave, he said the word change 28 times in something like 3 minutes!

This guy is everything we don't want, especially in a republican: he's more of george bush when he thinks he can simply apply mass marketing techniques to the electorate.

17. Gotta go with Mittens.
He will literally say ANYTHING if he thinks it's what you want to hear. It is also funny to watch him continue to attempt to fellate the dead, dusty, cock of Ronald Reagan.
