3. Simple enough.
  • Right click on graphic you want
  • Copy image location (or semantic equivalent in browsers other than FF)
  • Paste image location into message body.
  • Preview your post and discover the site with the image doesn't allow external links
    • steal image and copy it to Photobucket or similar

6. The effects of smoking may have not yet shown up yet
I am guessing Japanese cigarette consumption rose as a result of the destruction of traditional Japanese culture and the McCarthrization of the Home Islands in the aftermath of WWII.

Their greatest generation may have smoked less than the subsequent ones.

7. They're genetically smaller..
maybe that has something to do with it, along with their traditional diet.

4. My Question
Edited on Fri Jan-04-08 07:16 PM by Crisco
*whose* dollars? The private individual, or ... ? Those extra two years seem to be awfully expensive no matter how you look at it.

8. Worse yet., think of the last 2 years of life for any 80-something's you have known...

5. Worse yet, it's estimated to be up to $7498 per capita, as of 2007
That's according to some nice colorful bar graphs in
"Health Care Costs 101" by the California Health Care Foundation.
http://www.chcf.org/documents/insurance/HealthCareCosts07.pdf

That's from page 4, "National Health Spending per Person"
