This is going to be a rant. Not a long rant as my eyes are stinging for the tears-meet-mascara. I apologize in advance as this will surely be poorly written. I cannot bother doing any better, I simply need to put it out and get back to work. *sob*



I live in Jordan, Minnesota. I'm a single mother. For a time, to make ends meet, in addition to working at the Star Tribune I worked at a local bar/restaurant (Clancy's). Thusly I was able to become acquainted with many fellow Jordanites.

One young man I was lucky enough to know was Josh. He was charming, handsome, intelligent ... and frankly ... he tipped well. I always liked him. I always will.

I learned today that he died in Iraq. I learned that because I had to come to work, and I had to start proofreading pages. I also learned that I fucking officially hate proofreading pages from here on out.
