For Stoopid Republicans, Science Deniers, Chuck Norris fans: It's the Evolution Evidence Website
http://www.gate.net/~rwms/EvoEvidence.html

Don't go there if you want to continue denying science. It actually has EVIDENCE of EVOLUTION. Amazing isn't it. We've OBSERVED evolution HAPPEN. Yes, it's not a theory, it's FACT.

2. Scientific theory is not the same as a theory.
A scientific theory is an explanation of a set of related observations or events based on proven hypotheses and verified multiple times by unrelated scientists. One scientist creates a hypothesis, many scientists collaborate for a theory. I'd rather we use the term "scientific law" instead of "scientific theory". They're essentially the same thing and too many people get confused over the word theory.

3. I know that, although not sure if you meant to reply to the O.P. instead
It's kind of what I was getting at in response to the "it's a fact not a theory" which really drives me nuts.

We can't call it a Law because (a) it's already taken and (b) theories do change and evolve (ironically) to fit new data and/or new hypotheses.

5. well thats all fine if you believe in stuff like evidence
But why would something like scientific evidence convince a Creationist? If Jesus himself came down and told those fools that evolution was true, they would deny it.
