Okay, so it is official, America is now finally in recession
after hiding this for so long, the December figures reads 18000 jobs created, pitiful, out of a population of 300 millions, only 18000 jobs created in December.

The price you pay for electing a pleb/twit, a guy you can have a drink with in the backyard. No surprise there then, he has drank this once great nation dry.

1. The headline on CNNMoney - Pressure mounting for big rate cut
Umm, ya that's going to do wonders for our already rising inflation. :eyes:

They'll vote another idiot in just like him if we're not careful.

2. Have we had 2 quarters of GDP decline?
That is the official definition of recession

3. They were expecting some good job numbers too, or a least they
said they were. There is some actual definition for a recession & knowing these bastards they'll fix it so that it can't be termed an official recession.

It's like the price of oil. It never was officially at a record high price, until it was, and now nobody wants to talk about it.

4. For it to officially be a recession there has to be at a decline in GDP for two consequent quarters

5. Hmmm... seems like we really COULDN'T

cut taxes and increase government spending

take on a very expensive and totally unnecessary war

Almost double the total debt owed by the government

Ship a huge number of middle class and now upper middle class jobs to other countries

I'm shocked! :sarcasm:
