Massachusetts never gets to have any fun!

We don't have our primary until March, & the candidates know we always go democratic, so they don't spend anytime here. We don't really included in any of the discussions. Then, they all ask us to slog to swing states to work for them. I am proud that Massachusetts is progressive & doesn't need to be cajoled & implored to vote for democrats. It would be nice to be included in some way.

We don't have any say in who becomes the primary candidate (I know that many states don't have much influence, but after Super Tuesday, the goose has been cooked). The only way we can advocate for our candidates is through money, or if we have the luxury to travel to canvas. But, let's face it. Working so much, many Americans can't take off to a swing state to work.

This is so undemocratic.

2. It's got its plusses
Could you imagine being inundated with campaign ads all the time, tv and radio, and being ambushed at the local breakfast joint by someone you don't even like wanting to shake your hand?

3. Where do you live. Here in Boston, we get all the noise from NH.

BTW, the primary is on Feb 5th, this year.

I am getting tired to see Romney 10 times a day spewing his lies.

5. Northshore
but I don't get TV, and only listen to 5 minutes of radio a day. I do know that as soon as I drive into NH, it's all campaign ads on the radio.

to give me a taste of political showmanship to last me a lifetime.

Yeah, "Mumbles"... it really put us on the map and showed everyone that Boston is a "world class city". :eyes:

I think I'll pass on the "fun" of having the political bandwagons/3 ring circus and press blowing through town.

You've had two Democratic nominees for President from your state in the last 20 years
That's a lot more than can be said for many other states.
