The People Say "CHANGE, NOW". That is the resounding, reverberating message heard round the world last night. Even the Republicans are trying to figure out how they can represent change. Huckabee has even adopted it as his campaign message.

But the Democrats in Congress continue the status quo. If they continue to ignore the will of the people, they will not win the next time around. If Democrats are tied to the status quo by election time next year, you can be assured that we will lose seats and that Republicans will be able to grab the "We Represent Change" banner and fly it all over and in our faces. If Huckabee is bold enough to do it when he represents anything but change, and only an escalation in the direction we are going, then so too will the Republican challengers to Congress.

I think it is time to start running other Democratic reps against incumbent reps who continue to pursue the status quo and protect the Bush Administration from Prosecution, while continuing to fund the war and send our children off to die. I fully support Democratic candidates, just not ones who don't really represent the Democratic causes.
