Anyone see the Craig Ferguson show last night? (fascism watch)

Mike Huckabee was on the Late, Late Show. I think it was taped Wednesday, when the Huck went out west to be with Leno.

If you are familiar with this show, you know that Craig Ferguson has been trying to get his USA citizenship.

His guest, Mike Huckabee, told Craig that, when he is president, he will make Craig a US citizen, apparently by presidential decree.

Craig protested. "Won't you have to change the constitution or something?"

Huckabee said "We'll just ignore the Constitution, and do what we have to do."

I understand that this was a joking conversation. Still, wasn't it a revealing comment about the mindset of today's Republican party?

I think think it's a joke in very poor taste.

But hey, the GOP has not taste, so why should I expect more?
