It's a long road.

Take heart, Hillary. All is not lost. If you could just stay in the truck and let Bill stump for you, you might still be able to pull this thing off.

And chin up, John Edwards, you did yourself proud, coming in second. Why, I'll bet that if you had been able to work the fact that your daddy worked in a mill, as many times as Obama uttered the word "change" in his speeches, you just might have come in at number one.

Obama DID have the edge on you, though, John Edwards. There are fifty ways to work "change" into a speech. Plus, he had Oprah.

Congratulations, Senator Obama. Now you just have to figure out how the hell you're going to actually affect change. A few specifics would be nice.

1. He can adopt JE's specific plans, I suppose.
I mean, Johnny has specific policy ideas to implement. Obama has a lot of "change" and "hope" words.

3. Obama's not here to adopt John's plans. He's here to kill them.

2. Might be a good post...
"Congratulations, Senator Obama. Now you just have to figure out how the hell you're going to actually affect change. A few specifics would be nice."

However, I think that would have applied to whomever eventually wins the General Election.

4. One Might Also Consider A Change
to "effect change," instead of "affect change." Someone who "affects change" could be read as a person who "poses as a person who has changed."

Not what the poster meant. I know.

8. No, JE has specifics.
So, it doesn't apply to whoever might win the General.

9. but the M$M never talks about them
Hillary has specifics too, buried on her website, and even some in her stump speeches and press releases. She seemed to have mirrored Edwards health care proposal.

5. The road is long. With many a winding turn. That leads us to who
knows where, who knows when
but I'm strong.
Strong enough to carry him.
He ain't heavy
he's my candidate.
