Bill Clinton got two percent of the vote in the 92 Iowa Cockus!
Why are millions and millions spent on that state by politicians wanting to be president? One might consider it a lack of judgement on their part.

I pledge all my support and some of my money to the Dem Nominee, whomever that might be.

2. It disturbs me somewhat
that a relatively insignificant (population wise) state is made out (by itself) to be Mecca for politicians every four years. Rotate the primaries or make four regional primary dates which would rotate every election.

If the 1st caucus in 2008 was in Illinois, the other candidates would be doing the same thing.
