2. Eh. Big whoop. I just rode 30 miles on my bike in 14-degree weather.
And you guys are complaining about a "cold snap".

Seriously, though...I'm going to pray extra hard to the baby Jebus that you all don't have to turn on your furnaces.

5. WhIle I agree
might be worth considering what effect there will be on crops in Florida along with other growing areas and hence food prices for everyone.

15. No, I really am not.
I am pretty much a bore, but I do have 34 years in the grocery biz and watched prices go up and up and up and up for a variety of reasons (or excuses - your choice). This past Sunday's work included some 450 price advances in just the grocery department.

17. LOL
We've spent lovely days lying on hillsides on the the edge of orange orchards in Clarendon and Manchester - feasting on fresh oranges, then heading for the river to swim followed by a feast of jerk fish, jerk chicken and breadfruit with loads of Red Stripe.

14. I'm with Sherman, sorry...
Last year, citrus went sky high....I'm more than happy to take the cold and snow if our southern neighbors can avoid same.

3. Might look sweet to you
But as I sit here freezing my gonads off I'm wondering how much more snow is gonna fall on top of that damned foot we got yesterday.

Dear sweet Jesus, I hate winter.

10. No, no, no... we have enough tourists in FL now that add to the madness
of driving conditions... And its 29 degrees here in FL. I'm freezing.. All my winter jackets are still at my moms... When I get off the plane in Hartford, she's always waiting with my tundra jacket (if winter). I just keep that stuff up north. Who knew, I'd need it today?

6. LOL
I returned on Sunday night from a 8 day Christmas cruise with the whole family. I shoveled a 300 foot driveway crying and dreaming of being back on Grand Cayman. I hate winter more than I hate the GOP:argh:

9. We get real excited when a cold front heads our way
Should be in the 50s in Mandeville tonight and I can see my relatives lighting their fireplaces. We'll have a delightful 75 in Kingston tonight.

In the Bahamas the nationals will take out their winter coats.

I too hate winter -that's why I live in the Caribbean :D My Miami sister says it was freezing on her patio this morning. She ran back inside.
