We watched KTLA's coverage with Bob Eubanks, because they cover the entire parade without taking a single commercial break. For a few seconds, a Ron Paul banner was clearly visible in the crowd across the street from the camera. Later, an "Impeach" banner was visible for a few seconds, and at one point, there was a row of people, each with one letter in front of them, spelling out "IMPEACH." I'm not sure if these were on their clothing or they were holding up individual signs. It stayed on the screen longer than I expected it to - I guess KTLA didn't notice it. I wonder if any of these people got tasered.

39. Constitution & bobble heads followed the Main parade...

So glad you all are seeing these pix. Many of our activists camped out on Colorado Blvd for two days to be in position to get their signs in prime viewing position of the TV cameras. The various Impeach - plus Kucinich, Ron Paul - signs got onscreen quite a bit during the main ktlk telecast. The Constitution and bobble heads were in position to follow the last float down the main street (it's a parade tradition that viewers can do that). For that reason, you didn't see that part of our various actions on the national feed, since that always ends after the last float rolls past the grandstand with precise timing.

After marching, our activist coalition convened on the steps of city hall, where there was a press conference with local press interviewing Cindy Sheehan, Peter Thottam and other coalition leaders. We are following up on those stations to see if that was aired. We interacted lots with the crowd, and the tone was about 50-50 positive/negative. Since the parade is in rich, conservative and Republican Pasadena, the remarks were constrained. Negs were largely muttered, positives politely a thumbs-up. Police and volunteers were actually friendly and no confrontations ensued as far as I know.

Spread the word. The need to keep fire under their feet - now and forever.

I recorded 2 broadcasts of the parade and didn't see them on either. I'm frankly surprised the tv station mentioned it. They rarely do around here.

I thought it was as 2 hour show.....?

I didn't watch it, just listened while on the computer, though I paused now and then to look at the interesting sounding floats. Didn't see any protesters, but now I wonder why it ended so early. I remember it being much longer than it was today. :shrug:
