Now that 2007 is over I suppose everything that happened will be

Here many are so fixated and focused on Iowa and these presidential hopefuls that they forget all else , as if one man or woman is going to repair 8 years of extreme death and damage and just move on or more ahead . All you hear are the names of the hopefuls which I will not repeat , they have to be the cause of ear ringing across this country .

Sadly this is not true for the countless millions who are still suffering and left out either due to war or devastation or natural disasters or the lack of healthcare or a chance or hope of a job , no one will bring them back , they are the forgotten ones . What has the new year brought them and what promise does the new year hold for them .

I can only imagine they count it as another year of suffering , another notch in their boot straps .For those not hit yet it is a year of wait and wonder and none stop worry .

I try to think in a realistic sense rather than the hype of the masses where anything is anyones guess , games that people who can afford the comfort or complete ignorence and illusion sit behind , political games , popularity games and money games .

Will people never realize it is people who make the change by opening up their minds and by stopping to look around to really see what's going on around them . It's not going to be Hillary or Obama or anyone else standing at a mike with a prepared speech of hopes and dreams of what they promise to do as one promises to never lie again or drink again or cheat again .

We really have gone through the looking glass , not the one that's half empty or half full .
