NEW IOWA POLL: CLINTON OUT IN FRONT!
Among Democrats, Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York wins the most support, with 33 percent of likely Democratic caucus-goers backing Clinton and 31 percent supporting Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois.

I think this should serve to demonstrate the pointlessness of getting all excited (front-page excited) over any particular poll.

1. Now I've seen polls with Clinton, Edwards, and Obama in the lead
So it's my guess it's still anyone's race.

9. That's a pretty lazy and cheap attack on the candidate
try and come up with something more intelligent and honest than Clinton = Bush, if you can.

11. Are you suggesting the editorial choice affects the polling they contract?
Not likely.

The point is different polls show different front-runners, so it's a bit silly to get excited about any specific one.

If they ALL had one candidate showing a healthy lead, then they'd be worth paying attention to.

4. The race in Iowa has zoomed past the silly barrier.
Of course, watching the millionaire candidates pose as hayseeds was a good indication that the silly barrier was already broken.

7. Yeah. But, it's lost it's entertainment value.
I mean, after fifty cream pies in the clown's face you kinda lose interest.

“Now, the man on the stand he wants my vote,
He's a-runnin' for office on the ballot note.
He's out there preachin' in front of the steeple,
Tellin' me he loves all kinds-a people.
(He's eatin' bagels
He's eatin' pizza
He's eatin' chitlins
He's eatin' bullshit!)”
