I think John Edwards is starting to scare the crap out of Hillary and Obama supporters?
They seem to feel the need to attack him personally. There really is no need. If Edwards does not win, almost all his supporters will support either Hillary or Obama if they win the nomination. No big deal. We support Edwards but we will support either Hillary or Obama over the Republican candidate, probably Mitt Romney? Can't you give the same assurances?

1. Attack him personally?
Have you seen any of the vile, rude, tasteless, personal attacks directed at Hillary over in GDpolitics?

3. Yes, most of us Edwards supporters will support the nominee
even if it's not Edwards. And most of us Edwards supporters don't attack the other candidates. It's very off-putting to see that, regardless who's being attacked. Lots of anti-Edwards threads today. Must be because he's looking better by the minute in Iowa.

5. Agreed. Although it will be tough if the candidate is Hillary.

8. I support Edwards too...and
having to switch to Hillary will be very difficult. She's gotten too much in bed with Big Corporate interests for my taste....

6. A boatload of Edwards supporters will very likely support the Democratic
ticket. There are Republicans we need to defeat, not only because they are utter slimeballs but also because our nation's dignity is at stake. Eight years of Bush has been bad for our national health. Time to switch physicians.

It's not hard to understand Edwards' supporters' enthusiasm for The Carolinian. Likely supporters of other candidates feel that way about their guy or gal.

The Iowa caucuses are this Thursday. It's going to be a hundinger out there in the Hawkeye State.
