Anyone watching F*ckabee on MTP today?
He speaks softly but doesn't carry much of a mental stick does he?

He seems to be concerned about the weapons that might slip in over the border but never seems to be concened with the weapons on our streets now.

1. Actually, he's being sneaky sly smart...
He's sucking in the "fear-forever" and the "open borders" crowds at the same time.

3. I am outraged at his answer about kids
"they are children of their parents before they are American Citizens". :wtf: So we should send them to a country that they aren't a citizen of?

4. He is dim, but that immigration issue resonates with the rethugs,
as pumpkin head Russert knows all too well. My DH still claims he's going to vote for Huckabee because he thinks women should be subservient. :eyes: He's kidding...he's KIDDING!

:hi:

9. Huckabee gets asked soft ball questions about his idiotic
statements about Pakistan while Obama gets asked about the security policy ... can we see who Timmyboy thinks he can at least have a more intelligent conversation with at this point?

Fuckabee gets to blather on about abortion and immigrants and Obama gets to talk about world affairs. Go home Huck ... I hear Tom Sawyer is looking for you there!!

13. In keeping with the respective candidates' positions
See, Obama has said that he knows about foreign affairs and even has a policy. Huckabee, on the other hand, has spelled it out pretty clearly through one of his spokesmen:

A senior aide to Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee admitted Friday that the former Arkansas governor had "no foreign policy credentials" after his comments reacting to the assassination of former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto raised questions.

http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/12/28/huckabee.foreign.policy/index.html

So, as unbelievable as it is to contemplate a major party candidate for president not having any foreign policy credentials, it's up to Pumpkinhead (whose default setting when talking to movers and shakers is "off the record") to respect that, and not bring up a bunch of inconvenient questions. Geez, it's like you haven't been watching our vaunted Fourth Estate for the last quarter century.

10. Immigration is a big issue with the AM radio crowd, but more importantly
a backfire issue for the latinos. It's not a very good strategy for winning outside the redneck states.
