If you were voting in the Iowa Caucuses today, which candidate would get your vote? (Just post it in the title).

Thanks!

5. Edwards. The only anti-corporatist in the race,
except Kucinich who is not a front runner in Iowa.

Edwards is solidly anti-corporate greed, pro-union, and a populist candidate who will fight to protect the poor and middle class. Plus he can beat any Republican in the general election, and the man exudes charisma.

52. Richardson. If he's not viable, Obama.
I believe that the Democrats need to go with a candidate who had nothing to do with the ill-fated decision to go to war with Iraq. I like Richardson's executive experience and knowledge of foreign policy--and the fact that he's strayed off the Beltway foreign policy pundits reservation in recent years.

My reservations with Obama have to do with his lack of experience but he's shown he's capable of running a very good presidential campeign and that bodes well for his executive ability. He opposed the war from the getgo and that means a great deal to me. My president should be at least as smart as I am.

81. Edwards - Biden - Richardson
I like most of DK's positions but do not think he would be an effective POTUS.

Clinton and Obama I will support in general election but are my two least favorite candidates and IMO most risky in the general election.

Edwards best understands rural America and is most committed necessary corporate reform.

Any candidate goes up in my opinion that expresses condemnation of GWB regime, election reform, tax reform, and a roll back of our laws to pre-9-11 and GWB.

Also anti-war and pro-socialized medicine.

Do I understand correctly that you also list a second choice in the caucus process? If so, I'd have Dodd on that slot, but also would consider Biden and Richardson.

120. Joe Biden on first ballot. If didn't get 15% I would then go go to Edwards.

(on the DU Iowa Caucus looks like, from these results, that Edwards would win and Biden would be better than 15%)

Even pretending to be thinking about the possibility of maybe approaching the topic of the disparity of wealth and health in this nation and the role corporations have played in corrupting government gets my vote...at least once.
