I think my electric company is trying to jack us up

I think they're trying to recoup their losses from the ice storm. The bill I got this morning was 12.00 higher than any December bill I've paid, for the same number of days and that includes two without any service at all.
My next step is to our Attorney General who happens to running for governor, I'm sure he'd be interested in this.

1. You can try, but isn't your electric co. required to file with the

PUC for a rate increase? I know ours is. Check your bill to see if they actually read your meter or if this is an est. bill. Then check the past usage and compare the # KW used. I don't know what your bill is normally, but sometimes we do things that use more power and don't even think about it.
