7. I've seen him a couple of times in the past five or six years...

His pipes are still golden... he looked thin and gaunt, but didn't he always?

Steppenwolf toured with Blue Oyster Cult and Foghat a few times in the last decade and I covered the shows for my fanzine... good times!
