4. Strangely, Democrats talk about the opinion of Republicans all the time.
Edited on Thu Dec-20-07 06:46 PM by TwilightZone
I can't even begin to count the number of posts that have been made where people say Hillary or Obama or whoever should not be the nominee simply because that's what the Republicans want.

3. What is up with the gynophobia among repubs???
I never got the Hillary hate. She's accomplished, smart and can lead.

Granted, she's not my first choice, but she's not a bad choice either. Whichever side of the aisle you're from.

6. She's a strong successful woman.
That's enough reason for a lot of Republicans to dislike her.

7. I dunno. I certainly don't hate her, but I oppose her, and
for reasons totally different from those that drive the right-wing hate machine. In fact, "just to really piss them off" is the best reason I can come up with for voting for Hillary.

It amkes me kinda crazy that, in the year the first serious black candidate and the first serious woman candidate are running, I can't support either of them. Shit, that's just not fair.

13. She's no Dennis K
But then again, even Dennis did things I was strongly opposed to.

Honestly, I think whether we get Clinton or Obama - things will get MUCH BETTER

27. Well, somewhat better, anyway.
I don't expect either of them to do what's necessary to get us a sane health care system or curtail corporate excesses or make the really big policy changes necessary to save the environment, or do anything very useful about free traitors traders, but life will get better for a lot of people. More $$ for vet health, better education policies, maybe a more humane welfare system if the Big One hits--things like that. And no more wild-eyed crazies added to the Supreme Court. That stuff is worth voting for.

9. Maybe that's his intent.
I consider him beneath notice, and in fact wouldn't have noticed anything he said or did if it hadn't been waved under my nose on this site. Why should anybody give a shit what he thinks?

12. PCIntern: I favor Keith Olbermann...STRONGLY!
Tucker is by far, the most repulsive 'fellow' or 'pseudo-fellow' on MSNBC or CNN. Fauz of course, is in a class by itself, but Bow-tie Boy is quite simply, the smarmiest feak in the show.

Hey Tucker, if you take exception to my comments, why don't you meet me in a Men's Room somewhere and try to give me some of the same you claim you gave to that gay guy. Lying S.O.S....

I'd love the chance to take him apart...verbally of course.

Oh yes, he has deep-seated issues and I almost forgot he adores Ron Paul:scared:

Too bad cable can't hire some decent talent. Shuster would be great in that spot
or Rachel Maddow.

18. I support Edwards but anybody or anything Tucker is against ....
.... I almost always support. Tucker is a "self made son" who got his start
because of Daddy and his family's money. Funny, for as erudite as he tries
to come off as he never finished college.

I really don't care who Tucker likes or doesn't like and thankfully his days on
MSNBC are #ed.

19. Rather than breathlessly reporting what the wingnuts are saying -
it would behoove Democrats to take a good look at the hypothetical match-ups. For instance, Hillary is in a statistical dead heat with Huckabee nationally (HRC up by only 2 points) while Obama beats Huckabee's ass by 12 points.

John Edwards in particular but also Obama kick the every lovin' sh*t out of the Republicans whereas Hillary ties or squeaks by at best. Hillary is touting electability when she clearly has a problem in that area.

It will almost be worth the eight years of hell we've all been through to see Limpbaughls head explode when Hillary is sworn in. Can't wait.
