Hey Bill? Yoooo Hooooo.... paging Bill Clinton!!!... Looka here, Bubba
You've been down on your knees, kissing Bush ass since the Katrina disaster. While I'll admit that *that* was a noble effort and act, it's time has run out. Have you realized yet that the money you've helped raise is just going into the pockets of the bush cronies??

Now with your latest little flub, it's plain to see for all of us. You asserted that the first thung Hillary was going to do was send you, Poppy Bush and some others around the globe to tell the world that "America is open for business again". Have you seen Poppy's response? Here it is, Bubba:
In a statement sent to CNN Tuesday afternoon, former President Bush’s chief of staff Jean Becker said that he “wholeheartedly supports the President of the United States, including his foreign policy. He has never discussed an ‘around-the-world-mission’ with either former President Bill Clinton or Sen. Clinton, nor does he think such a mission is warranted since he is proud of the role America continues to play around the world as the beacon of hope for freedom and democracy.

So you see, Bill... while you were down on your knees again, kissing Bushie ass, Poppy just shit in your face! How does that make you feel, Bubba? Do you feel proud of yourself now? What about you defending the little tyrant chimp with a big "How DARE you!" when someone asked you about possible foreknowledge or even complicity in the attacks of 9-11?

Do you *still* want to defend these cretins? Looka here, Bubba... we stood behind you when you admitted youthful marijuana use even though we *knew* you were full of shit with your "but I didn't inhale!". Come on Bubba... how foolish do you think we are?

We also stood behind you with your assertations of "I didn't have sex with that woman!". Once it was known that *that* was a lie also, we *still* stood behind you... all the way through your impeachment.

Here's what I'm getting at, Bubba... it's time for YOU to stop kissing Bushie ass and stand back up like a man. Wipe Poppy's shit off your face, dust your knees off and start asking some hard questions of them yourself. You were a respected leader, something that neither of the Bushies can say. They are both loathed, even by their own party.

You may have fucked up, but your fuckups were of a personal nature in your personal life. They made you a bad husband, NOT a bad President. Come on Bubba, it's time for you to get pissed and start speaking out about the dismal failure that is George Walker Bush and his policies & administration.

Again... wipe the shit off your face, dust your knees off and then stand up and come out swinging.... you'll be a better man because of it.

PEACE!

9. Ooo. Just read your other post. I agree.
I even think that his thing with Monica was to get back at her. Most guys who cheat on their wives want them to know about it. Maybe she just ignored it over the years and it got to him so he went all out with Monica. Now he is turning up the heat. It's very weird to watch. Even the rethugs don't associate themselves with the bushies these days. He isn't that stupid to think this will help her in any way. Also she never mentions any connection to them out right and has plenty of her own rhetoric as to what she wants to accompish and I've never heard her say meeting up with a bush was her first priority. Bill is getting scary.

be a tragedy if he were to successfully undermine her campaign. She has worked very hard and deserves her shot. If he continues this it would be very sad to watch her campaign implode from within. Not to mention horrific for the party.

18. That is what I thought right away.
Bill is a classic Leo -- and Leo's are the sole King of the Jungle. To be upstaged by his wife -- as the first female President -- and to be relegated to First Husband would be too much for his ego to handle. I think Bill will -- unconciously -- find 100 and 1 ways to fuck this up for her.

23. If you don't understand statesman-talk, this looks damning.
In diplo-speak, the phrase "supports the president's foriegn policy" falls far short of saying he's doing the right thing. It would be close to disloyalty to oppose the nation's foreign policy. That doesn't mean he thinks it's the right policy or that he doesn't think it needs to be changed in a dramatic way. It simply means that he isn't actively opposing it.

Ex-presidents have to speak in a different way than ordinary citizens. I'm not going to be much of a fan of the Big Dog's until this nomination is settled (or at least before his wife gets drummed out of the primary race). But I don't think we should read too much into this kind of generic statement.

34. I agree....
The Clintons were folded into the neocon fray. They mistakenly believed that
this was an honor. Little did they realize that these Fascist scumbags brought
them in to destroy them and control them.

By this time, the neocon thugs have so much dirt on these two--there's no escaping.

I believe that Bill's comment is a product of the double life he leads and the immense
inner turmoil he feels. Bill was raised in a dysfunctional family. He knows how sociopaths
operate. He didn't become one, but he certainly learned how to adapt and function among them.

Bill Clinton capitulated, like he had to do when he was a child. However, Bill has had
some therapy. A part of him understands how sick all of this is. A part of him is
tormented. His sex addiction demonstrates that he knows the truth. It eats him up
so he uses sex and other dysfunctional behaviors to quell the pain.

So, every once in a while--he lets the truth slip out, because it takes an enormous amount
of energy to contain the ominous truth. He wants to spill the beans. He knows that
"We The People" do not deserve this. However, they've got him by the bells.

Bill Clinton is one of the most conflicted individuals alive today.

I hope Poppy's smack down was a wake-up call.

How well I remember when, during Monica gate, Arrianna Huffington was pleading with Bubba to resign his office and let Al Gore have the presidency to avoid the blistering rethuglican attacks on the Clinton's. How I hated her for even suggesting his resignation. And now, in retrospect, she was absolutely right. Can you imagine Al Gore finishing Clinton's term and continuing to be president for the next eight years, then handing over the presidency this January 20th to the next Democratic president for the next eight years. I can't begin to list the benefits to this country if Clinton would have resigned. But now, we have the Bush/Clinton dynasty and the antics of an egotistical bastard to look forward to -- for only god knows how many more years. If there is a God, I plead with him/her to save us from Bush/Clinton.

... and that means working with others to get good things done, even if you personally disagree with them on many issues.

Poppy probably had to say that for Shrub to maintain face. Shrub is, after all, his son. What else was he going to say?

Did Bill have Poppy's permission to say Poppy would be an American ambassador-at-large? Or was Bill speaking loosely?

Bill has his flaws, but working for Katrina relief with Poppy is not one of them. Bill still gets my vote.

62. You're right. Clinton could have spent his post-Presidential years
thus far aligning himself with a Nobel Peace Prize winner who has had a distinguished, much admired career since leaving the WH. Instead, he hangs with a family that makes the Corleones look like boy scouts. It's shameful.
