Obama probably holds all the Kerry states. Huckabee makes a clean sweep of the south because of his southern roots and racism.

Ohio becomes a dogfight with a slight edge to Huckabee because of racism.

What will ultimately decide the election are the republican leaning but really LIBERTERIAN western states like Arizona, Nevada, Colorado. They probably won't take too kindly to Huckabee's social views but they also won't like Obama's pledge to raise taxes.

If you guys think the race won't be close with our 24/7 corporatist media cycle with Obama/Huckabee, you guys are deluding yourselves.

1. Hucklebee should be the opponent Obama wants
With Hucklebee as the nominee, Obama does not have to worry about Republican charges that he is inexperienced. In fact, he has more foreign policy experience than Hucklebee.

You are right though, that any Republican nominee should be taken seriously.

3. MS - 59% white
GA - 59% white, FL - 62% white

If we want to talk about race, Obama puts southern states in play like nobody else. He can move the minority vote, and there will be enough white Dem vote to pull the difference. He can make the Republicans fight in the south, especially if Romney is the candidate, which is likely.
