Today---the minute false info is reported or written about, it is debunked pretty quickly. Where? The internets.

Oh I know the internets were around when Clinton and even Bush 41 were around---but the tools...Blogs, Forums, etc were in it's infancy.

All we had was the MSM.

If the internets had been around in 1933, I don't believe Hitler and the Nazi's could have misled the German people into thinking all their ills were the fault of jews and traitors. Part of Bush's meteoric decline in the polls can be directly attributed to the effects of the public's access to information free from right wing media and newspapers.
