Our super WGA tool which sends emails to the network execs and studio chiefs in charge of your favorite shows now includes the Colbert Report and Daily Show (we've put together a very good list from some excellent rolodexes, so we wanted to make sure your finely crafted emails were not going into some public trash bin but straight to the source).

Anyway, the AMPTP walked away from the negotiating table last Friday but they've done a very good job getting surrogates to fan out and say that the writers are responsible. A compliant media, quite predictably, is lapping it up.

It's a lot of fun to praise the shows you like... and even MORE fun to pester the producers who won't pay the writers for their work.

2. I used that last week

I think I emailed about 7 shows. I'll do it again later for the Daily Show and Colbert Report. I replaced the pre-written message with one of my own. I recommend that all who use this tool personalize their emails. That way, the suits can't blow them off as auto-generated.

I love good writers and they deserve to get paid the percentage they're asking..the studioheads and whomever is penny-pinching the Writers need to get a clue..unless they'd like to write the damn lines.
